You are invited to come and step out of the world. Life moves at a blistering pace. Our children are mired in the ways of the world and so are we. We are so disconnected from reality that, at times, it can be mind numbing. It is time to disconnect and spend a moment outside of time itself. Feel unloved and insignificant? Come and find your purpose. Feel like you have messed things up so bad that you have destroyed God's plan for your life? You my friend are not that powerful. Who is God anyway and why does he care about you? How could he when there are so many people? Have you had loved ones in your life that have gone before you but tried to connect you with God? You have not missed your chance. We will not make you stand up and introduce yourself. You don't have to commit yourself to anything. Just come. What will happen is you will find yourself wrapped in the love of Jesus Christ by a group of believers who know that we need help just like you. We are not a country club. We are here to welcome you and your loved ones to join us in learning, loving God, and growing our faith. It doesn't matter how far you have come or where you are at now. Just come. We invite your children, from birth through 5th grade to join us all outside on the lawn for an Easter Egg hunt, following the service. Child care is available. Disconnect from the world and be loved by God who is love. We are his hands and feet. Join us in our various ministries, no matter your age or talent, and help us give food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, shelter to the homeless and love to those in need, We are Trinity Church Rock Island. Easter Mass begins at 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning at 1818 6th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Remember, if we do not teach our children who Jesus is, the world will teach him who he is not. God bless you!
Beautiful Palm Sunday at Trinity Church.

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord to the Blessed Virgin Mary! What the heck is that? In the sixth month of St. Elizabeth's pregnancy carrying St. John the Baptist, an Angel visited a young Virgin Mary in Nazareth and dropped the bomb on Her. The Absolute Unknowable was going to be incarnated in Her womb. How might a visitation like that change your day, ladies? Oh yes, there will be a Mass in our chapel at Trinity tonight at 5:30 tonight.
Today we celebrated the Holy Eucharist remembering the Martyrdom Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury. He was martyred on this date in 1556. He played a pivotal role in our church history and played a significant role in the formation of the original Book of Common Prayer in 1549. His story is remarkable.
